March 2026 | Facilities Management, Partnership & Industry Excellence

Synergy was delighted to once again support the Facilities Management Awards 2026, celebrating the organisations, teams and individuals helping to raise standards across the facilities and property management sector.

The awards ceremony, held in Dublin on 11 March 2026, brought together professionals from across the industry for an evening recognising excellence, innovation, leadership and outstanding service within Facilities Management.

For Synergy Prestige, our connection with the Facilities Management sector is particularly important.

Across the UK and Ireland, many of the security services we provide operate as an integral part of a customer's wider Facilities Management strategy.

Security Officers, Reception & Concierge teams, Mobile Security personnel, technology and operational management all contribute to creating workplaces that are safe, secure, welcoming and resilient.

Proud to Support the Property Management Company of the Year

This year, Synergy was proud to sponsor the Property Management Company of the Year category.

The award recognises organisations demonstrating excellence in property management, customer service, innovation and professional standards.

We were delighted to see Wyse Property Management named as the 2026 winner and extend our congratulations to their entire team on a well-deserved achievement.

Supporting awards such as these provides an opportunity to recognise organisations that continue to invest in their people, customers and the environments they manage.

Security & Facilities Management

The relationship between Security and Facilities Management continues to evolve.

Historically, security may have been viewed as an individual service operating alongside cleaning, maintenance, reception and other building services.

Today, those boundaries are increasingly interconnected.

Security teams can play an important role in:

Workplace Experience – often providing the first interaction employees, visitors and contractors have with a location.

Access & Visitor Management – helping ensure people can move through buildings safely and appropriately.

Emergency Preparedness – supporting evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and other emergency procedures.

Incident Management – identifying, reporting and escalating events that may affect people or operations.

Business Continuity – helping organisations maintain appropriate security arrangements during disruption.

Property Protection – protecting buildings, assets and critical areas both during and outside normal operating hours.

Security therefore forms an important part of the overall environment Facilities Management teams are responsible for creating and maintaining.

Partnership Matters

The most successful FM relationships are rarely based on individual services operating independently.

They depend upon communication, collaboration and shared objectives.

For security providers, that means understanding not only the security requirement but also the wider environment in which the customer operates.

  • How is the building used?

  • What experience does the customer want employees and visitors to have?

  • What are the critical areas and activities?

  • What happens outside normal operating hours?

  • How should incidents be escalated?

  • How does security interact with the wider emergency and business continuity arrangements?

Answering these questions allows security to become part of the customer's wider operational strategy rather than simply a standalone contracted service.

A Changing UK Facilities Management Landscape

The same focus on excellence, innovation and partnership is evident across the UK Facilities Management sector.

The Facilities Management Awards UK 2026 opened for entries in March, recognising organisations and individuals across areas including technology, sustainability, health & safety, people development, workplace transformation, specialist services and client/service-provider partnerships.

These categories demonstrate just how broad modern Facilities Management has become.

For Synergy Prestige, it reinforces the importance of continually developing our own capabilities alongside those of our FM customers and partners.

Supporting Our Customers

At Synergy Prestige, we work alongside Facilities, Property, Workplace and Operational teams to provide security solutions appropriate to their individual environments.

Our objective is not simply to place Security Officers at a location.

It is to understand how security contributes to the wider operation and ensure our people, technology, management and procedures support the customer's objectives.

That collaborative approach becomes increasingly important as workplaces become more connected and customer expectations continue to evolve.

Celebrating Success

We would like to congratulate all of the 2026 Facilities Management Awards winners and finalists, and particularly Wyse Property Management on receiving the Property Management Company of the Year award.

We are proud to support initiatives that recognise professional standards and celebrate the people and organisations continually raising expectations across the industry.

And from our colleagues at Synergy Prestige in the UK, congratulations to everyone involved.

Great Facilities. Strong Partnerships. Safer Workplaces.

Synergy Prestige

People. Partnership. Protection.
